Career Story:
After leaving Tucson in 1978, I got an MPH at Harvard, and then worked for 3 years at the CDC, first in Atlanta, then in Seattle. From 1982-2001, I was WA state epidemiologist. From 2001-8, spent half my time in Japan, training field epidemiology. Now I do miscellaneous consulting jobs out of my house in Seattle.
Notable Personal Accomplishments:
I'm happy, and I have two kids that are employed and happy with their jobs!
Notable Professional Accomplishments:
Investigated a lot of infectious disease outbreaks, helped train over 50 epidemiologists in the US and Japan
Favorite Recreational Activity:
Finding interesting music on the Internet, eating good food in Asian countries

Taking care of some very nice patients
Personal Story:
Married to Mollie (35 years).Two kids; Joe (33) is married and has 2 daughters, Ana (30) is also happy with her life in Seattle
