Why did you choose UA Family Medicine? I was drawn to the program's emphasis on integrative medicine as well as its dedication to providing care to underserved populations.
What are you most excited about for life in Tucson? I'm excited to have what seems like an unlimited number of places nearby to enjoy the outdoors! I love hiking, and I am stoked to have so many trails in my backyard. Also, I am super excited to get more into rock climbing while living in Tucson!
What are your interests or hobbies outside of Medicine? I love being in the outdoors and also doing anything involving music! My other hobbies are sailing, drawing, and cooking.
What are your professional interests within Medicine? I am particularly interested in integrative medicine, and hope to become trained in therapies like acupuncture so that I can have more tools to offer patients. I also have an interest in preventive care. I hope to help patients modify their lifestyles before disease onsets, because that is where I see the greatest need in our current healthcare system.
Favorite vacation spot? Latuerbrunnen, Switzerland. You are surrounded by picturesque views!
Favorite restaurant in Tucson? Guadalajara. Their salsa is amazinggg
