Best interview experience of any place--instantly made me feel like family. Also, you get an incredible breadth of training in the program, which made me feel like I would be well prepared after residency.
What is your favorite thing about living in Tucson?
The mountains since I missed them in Nebraska for medical school
What are your interests or hobbies outside of medicine?
Fly fishing, yoga, concerts, and cheese (it has to be on all food I eat)
What are your professional interests within Medicine?
My family is from the southwest and thus I have always wanted to live in the southwest and work with native populations, especially in the rural setting.
Favorite Way to spend a day off?
Rock climbing with other residents, and then pool volleyball at Amy's house
