After graduating from the UA FM residency program in 2009, I started working as a part-time clinician for University Physician's Hospital (UPH) at the Kino Campus in the Family Medicine Department. I also worked several urgent care shifts at Kino Hospital. At this time I continue to work at the UPH Kino Family Medicine Clinic part-time. We started a new family medicine residency program at UPH in 2010, so I have also been somewhat involved in the interview and selection process for our first batch of residents. Recently I was asked to help co-facilitate a medical student elective called the Healer's Art, which is a 6-week course.
