Why Family Medicine? I always wanted to take care of people of all ages and wanted to be challenged with a variety of interesting cases. Treating patients in the setting where you actually get to follow them was my goal.
Why UA/UPHK? I transferred to this program as a second year resident due to various reasons. I chose this program as I felt that it is very caring program and provided full spectrum training. The faculty is very friendly and understanding. The rural rotations make you more confident and the ICU training makes you very comfortable to practice in any institute with an open ICU. Moving close to my family was a big reason for me to move to Tucson.
