I was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona and attended Catalina High Magnet School. Coming from a family full of UA Wildcat fans, I made the unpopular decision to attend Arizona State University where I obtained an undergraduate degree in Medicinal Biochemistry. After exploring the busy city of Tempe, I decided it was time to return to my roots in Tucson for Medical School and now Residency in Family Medicine.
I have a medium sized family with one sister and one brother. In my spare time, I enjoy playing with my dog Jaxon, hiking, eating the delicious local cuisine, gardening and traveling.
I chose this residency, among other reasons, for the strong Integrative Medicine focus. I enjoy learning about different cultures and methods of healing and would like to incorporate those methods into my future practice.
