After residency I took off 8 months to be a hunting/kayaking/ski bum, and then worked for a year in ED in Missoula MT. After that it has been the same family medicine practice ever since, in Hailey, Idaho. The practice has grown from 2 physicians to 8 physicians.I did flight training in the 6 weeks after finishing residency. For many I years have flown to two rural clinics in remote Idaho on weekly basis to see patients and to support two physician assistants.
